Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) - What You Need To Know To Protect Your Workers From Dust and Other Airborne Substances

With the recent news article around a compost worker contracting Legionnaires Disease it's a timely reminder around what you need to do to protect yourself and others from the dangers of dust and other airborne substances.

WorkSafe recommend when working with soil, compost and potting mix to use a disposable P2 mask which we have available here.   There is helpful guideline around what mask is right for you too and the P2CV mask we have available is recommended for working with waste or compost, painting, paint stripping, welding and other specifications.  Gloves are also recommended when working with compost, soil and potting mix.
